The Family

 Alternating between contemporary time in which Karrabing members struggle to maintain their physical, ethical and ceremonial connections to their remote ancestral lands and a future populated by ancestral beings living in the aftermath of toxic capitalism and as they are being pursued by a white zombie, “The Family” mixes comedy, tragedy and realism to reflect on their present practices might impact worlds to come. "The Family" combines historical and contemporary footage from Karrabing trips to their country--bushwhacking, camping, et cetera--and fictional encounters with the future ancestors.
